At 16 years old, Sam Samano was picking orders for a french fry company called Hot Potato. A young immigrant who left school to work, he learned the food business from the ground up, from warehouse floors to distribution routes, seeing firsthand what separated average companies from great ones. In 1998, he decided customers deserved better. With a small storefront in Chicago’s Fulton Street meatpacking district, he built Fox Deluxe Foods on a simple standard: move fast, work hard, and take care of customers. That discipline fueled steady growth across the Midwest. Through strategic expansion and acquisitions, Fox Deluxe strengthened its supply chain and expanded its capabilities, eventually moving into a state of the art USDA certified processing and distribution facility in Wheeling, Illinois. Today, Fox Deluxe Foods remains family owned and operated. The company has grown, but the foundation has not changed. Consistently deliver quality and take care of every customer.
